Well, i am quite young, with only 19 years of experience in life. In spite of this, i am well aware of Dead Kennedys and with that particular song. RPM should be quite familiar to a person who has driven any car or motorcycle.
Well that i just meant. Rpm in other words revolutions per minute. They are the same definition in motor speed as in vinly playing speed. In soviet russia they made old vinlys with 45 rpms and some newer players usually dont have that slow rpm capability. So try to play those records with your 78 rpm speed and say it does sound better. I dare you.
Dead Kennedy’s started before they were born so to them it is still ancient..haha
Yep – I was going to say. TDTF was released in 1981 – that’s nearly 30 YEARS AGO MILTON!!!! and as if those kids would know what rpm was!
Cool song! (I am old though).
Damn, you’re right. Those kids wouldn’t know what rpm is. I claim artistic license!
Rock on, Wrinkly!

@ Mephisto
The rpms are a reference to vinyl records as you could change the speed to try to get better sound and tempo.
